Brett Schweinberg's practice focuses on real estate litigation, land use and zoning, and landlord/tenant law. Prior to joining Zacks, Freedman & Patterson, Brett litigated cases for homeowners in mortgage foreclosure actions. Brett's hands-on experience in the skilled trades also gives him unique insight into disputes involving construction and contractors.  

At the Tulane University Law School, Brett focused on Constitutional Law as well as International Law, including a stint as a policy analyst for the Royal Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. He graduated Cum Laude in 2018.

Prior to law school, Brett was an award-winning print journalist, having earned multiple press association awards for his work in both his native Illinois and Louisiana.
